  • Contains iodine; use caution if taking thyroid medication
  • Selenium is toxic in high doses; adults should not exceed 150 µg daily from supplements
  • The recommended daily intake of vitamin A is 700 µg retinol equivalents for women and 900 µg for men
  • Avoid taking vitamin A supplements during pregnancy without consulting a healthcare practitioner; excessive amounts may cause birth defects
  • Do not use while on warfarin therapy without medical advice
