We are an Australian owned business that started out with me, Katie Ilott.
20 years ago, in 2001, as a naturalist, I decided I needed to create products with only the purest form of TGA approved, essential oils and herbs. That were organic, pure, sustainable to our earth & something I would use on myself or my children.
Without ALL the chemicals, fragrances, fillers and water, and some toxins that nearly all skin products at the time contained. It was frustrating, and so I my story begins.
I started hairdressing at 12 yo on the weekends, and loved it, but as a hairdresser, it was to hard on my body, so I became a nail technician and beauty therapist. I love knowing the in & outs of the skin, hair and anti-ageing processes, so, I decided to change careers, and study a degree in Naturopathy.
Since then, I have religiously studied, researched and invested in the Naturopathic field of medicine, & decided to use the knowledge I have gained to produce skin and hair products that contain ONLY the best natural and organic ingredients, that I would use on my body, and still do.
I wanted to find ingredients that actually worked on the skins matrix for each skin conditions my family & friends had, or as a skin treatments for my business like - No more Ingrowns, That I would use on my clients skin after waxing to prevent ingrown hairs.

Balm, creams & ointments for inflamed skin reactions, allergic skin reactions, Eczema, wind burns, dry skin, abrasions, insect stings and bites, diabetic leg ulcers, swelling, bruises, osteoarthritis & chilblains pains, and so much more.
Due to the anti-ageing properties that are in Naturogenics Tattoo Balm, it too, can be used as a barrier balm at night under the eyes & face, or anywhere on the body. My products help reduce the signs of ageing, protect and hydrate the skin, whilst reducing the effects of free radicals produced from environmental or genetic factors.

Due to the anti-ageing properties that are in Naturogenics Tattoo Balm, it can be used as an anti-ageing barrier balm at night under the eyes & face, or anywhere on the body.
My products help reduce the signs of ageing through the process of exfoliation, repair & the hydration of the skin, thus plumping the epidermis cells, whilst reducing the effects of free radicals produced from environmental or genetic factors.
The Skin or Integumentary System is the largest organ of the body that consist of skin, hair, nails, exocrine glands & nerves. With a surface area between 1.5 - 2 square meters. One square inch of the skin contains 17 million cells. The skins epidermis acts as a physical barrier that protects our body from injuries, infections, bacteria (microbiomes) & is our body's first line of defence. The skin also helps regulate body temperature through the hypothalamus.
The skin stores water, fat, glucose and synthesises vitamin D that's crucial for calcium absorption, immune function & supporting healthy bones.
Hydration and a good diet also reflect through the skin. Drinking 2 litres of water a day will also help plump up our skin cells & getting enough sleep has be proven to reduce the early signs of aging.
Skin cells contain cytoplasm, the watery liquid in each cell. Cytoplasm contains 60-90% water, so to keep our cells plump & full, we also need to drink enough water.
Anti-ageing of the skin is not just about the outside epidermis, but also the inside of the body. Seek you GP's advice on how much water you need per/day.
Someone on diuretic medication would drink less water than someone who is on Bumetanide. Always seek professional medical advice if unsure.
